Satoshi Nakagawa is the young talent trained at Shiraki Hamono. He is working with a range of carbon and speciality steels and producing some really covetable knives.
SHAPE: Sakimaru Yanagiba. A version of a single beveled yanagiba, being used for precise slicing typically when preparing sushi. With it's distinct flat tip making it look more like a samurai sword than a chef knife, it's the ultimate Japanese knife.
STEEL: VG10. A premium high carbon Japanese stainless steel capable of impressive hardness. This is the premier product in the V Gold series made by Takefu steel.
FINISH: Mirror polished.
HANDLE: Octagonal ebony handle with a black buffalo horn ferrule
