I've had it for a few weeks it does smell a bit when you first start using it I washed it after you cook like some french fries and English muffin pizzas or warm up some food in it the smell dissipates and I'm very sensitive to any kind of scent or smell. I found a tip from someone else I line the bottom of the pan of the drawer with aluminum foil or parchment paper and then put the tray on top of that it really reduces any kind of off gassing when cooking and helps with cleanup. Works great for English muffin pizzas warming up enchiladas,
